Happy 5th Anniversary, Ink Stains!

Posted on

Roni at Ink Stains is celebrating her blog’s fifth anniversary with a blog hop.  She asked us to create an altered Altoid tin for the hop.  I had never done one of these before so Roni sent me a couple of tins and a lot of encouragement.  I made this tin as a gift for my son.  I used images of my grandson from newborn to the present.

Here’s the lid:

The inside lid:

The next two photos show the insert folded out:

I’m happy with the way my tin turned out.  It was a learning experience and I’m planning my next one!  Thanks for stopping by, I love reading your comments.
Be sure and head over to Roni’s blog to check out some fabulous tins and a chance to win some great prizes.

Hugs, Vic

  18. Hi Vic,

Great tin! I’m sure your son will love it. This was my first altered tin project too – and yes, I can just imagine what I may do next! As a matter of fact, I may copy you and make a tin devoted to my mom.
