Olive Canvas

Posted on

Wow, I didn’t think it had been so long since my last post but three long months have gone by!  I have been doing some creating but I’ve been very bad about taking photos.

Today I want to show you a canvas I made for my granddaughter.  I’ve recently become enamored with Julie Nutting’s doll stamps.  She has stamps, papers and background tags made by Prima.  I’ve watched Julie’s videos on YouTube and I just love her style.

For this 5 x 7 canvas, I used the doll stamp Julie named Olive – thus the title of this post.

I used a lot of glitter and bling to create this fairy fantasy.  I cut an easel from my Tim Holtz easel die and attached it to the back so Hailey can stand it on her dresser.  I hope she will like it.

Let me know what you think.  Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a great week.

I’m entering my canvas in the Anything But a Card Challenge #26 which happens to have the theme Fairy Fantasy.

Hugs, Vic

Last week I got Julie’s book “Collage Couture” from the library . Isn’t her work terrific!! You have used her style, but still made “Olive” your own. Very nicely done! I may have to buy the book & we can share it:)
